Photo References for Artists.

Hi folks!
 I started this community a few years back and I'm afraid to say, didn't keep up with it as well as I'd planned.
However, I am still getting membership requests. There is obviously plenty of interest for reference photos, with the copyright waived by the photographer - for non commercial art purposes only. (By non-commercial, I mean that the photographer is perfectly happy for their images to be used as a reference for artists. If the artists subequently sells a painting made from that photograph, that's fine too - however, permission is not given for these photographs to be reproduced and sold as photographic prints, or used for such commercial ventures as logo design.)
So I'd love to hear if there is still enough interest in this community to maybe start it moving again?

There is an ART FAIR in South Brunswick, NJ on Sunday, September 25th. It is from 12-5 PM and is a show of fine arts such as painting, photography, drawing, pottery and jewelry. It is located at Crossroads South Middle school (195 Major Road, Monmouth Junction NJ, 08810) and has completely free admission.

It's going to be a great event, I hope everyone can make it!

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, if this isn't acceptable I'll remove it.

This first picture is of the path down to a small cave on the island of Gozo, Malta.

Followed by a picture of the cave, I love the colour's of the rock.

Further into the cave. This is as far as I could go, and I've played around with the picture a bit with the contrast and I'm a bit unsure about it. I think there's too much light on the water, but I haven't been able to darken it without losing the rest of the picture to the dark. Hope this is ok.

I was wondering if the fruit theme is still on, or can anyone start another theme, or post a non-theme picture? I'm new to here and don't want to step on any toes.

I've been a bit busy this weekend and didn't manage to update as much as planned.. But I have fruit for you...
